All our programs have been approved by the Registrar of the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB), Ministry of Advanced Education, Government of BC. Designated institution means that the institution maintains the highest standards and has a solid reputation in the educational industry. Canadian Health Care Academy is also an EQA Designated College. EQA is a quality assurance designation that identifies BC public and private post-secondary institutions that have met or exceeded provincial government recognized quality assurance standards and offer consumer protection.

For PN and Access to PN Students:
Our Access to Practical Nursing Program is recognized and approved by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia.
We are Health Authority approved for long-term care facilities for practicum. Students from our program are guaranteed practice experiences in the Fraser Health Authority, Providence Healthcare, or Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, exposing you to potential employers in the lower mainland before you even graduate.

Career Planning We will assist you in any way we can above and beyond your nursing or health care education. We are available to help you with your resume, cover letter, interview skills, job postings, job placement and updates in your field. We are here to help make your job search as successful as possible.
Academic Growth We genuinely care about your Academic Growth and success within our school and outside of it. You are more than welcome to come in and sit in on classes to help prepare you for your CRNE or you Practical Nursing Licensing Exam once you have graduated. Our graduates can also take refresher courses for free.
Resources Our small class size provides you with more one-on-one instruction and personal support. We have a student library, and a state of the art Nursing Lab with all of the newest technology and equipment you will need.
Education Specific Canadian Health Care Academy is a nursing college and offers only health care related programs! All our instructors are qualified and have extensive work experience in the field that they teach.
Support We offer a free boot camp to our students to prepare you for your Licensing Exam, free tutoring is available, anything you may need help with as a past, current or previous student we will do our very best to accommodate.
You will receive $200.00 every time you refer someone to one of our programs, provided they begin a class at CHCA.
